PROJECTS

Ragley Estate,
Alcester

With its extensive grounds, Ragley Hall near Alcester has established itself as a successful events provider for a wide range of performances, gatherings and long weekends.

Getting everyone (and everything) in and out of the grounds of a grade I listed property and a grade II* registered park and garden is an ongoing challenge for the Ragley Estate team.

Working with the excellent Nicholas Pearson Partnership LLP, Whartons NIC (arboriculture) and Archaeology Warwickshire, Stansgate Planning were delighted to assist in making an application to maintain and improve various access tracks through the park and the wider estate to minimise the impacts of vehicles and people in all weather conditions and maximise accessibility to minimise the impacts of events on the surrounding road network.   Thanks to the efforts of the Council’s planning officer, a planning application was approved in time for the Estate to submit their application for grant support money to carry out the work.
