Lowther Holiday Park

Lowther Holiday Park is a holiday caravan site located near the edge of the Lake District National Park with pitches for 430 static caravans and 158 touring caravans.
The project involved extending the caravan site by 125 pitches, on land covering 24.6 hectares and close to a Grade II listed building and a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Stansgate Planning co-ordinated a wide range of technical reports and undertook extensive pre-application consultation with the Council in order to minimise issues and resolve these during the planning process. The scheme, designed by MCK Associates Ltd, was subsequently granted planning permission for the additional pitches.
